This amazing campsite is located on a lush green landscape along the banks of the beautiful Pawna Lake and is surrounded by murky valleys of the Western Ghat mountain range. The whole setting is made even more beautiful owing to the presence of various attractions like Lohagad Fort, Tikona Fort, Tung Fort, and Visapur Fort. The refreshing ambience makes this site an exquisite destination near Lonavala and Khandala to just enjoy a charming weekend. 

You start your Pawna camping experience as you check-in on day 1 by 4 PM and end your tour by 11 AM the next day morning. The site of the camp is in Kamshet, located just 30 Km from the Lonavala Railway station. You can reach the campsite very easily as local transportation is very easily available from both Lonavala and Kamshet, from their respective Railway station and Bus stand. And you can also use private vehicles or taxis. Upon your arrival utilize your accommodation in comfortable tents that will be allocated on a double/triple sharing basis along with mattresses, pillows, and blankets to ensure the utmost comfort for each and every visiting guest. The campsite is located a mere 15-20 steps away from the lake and is also equipped with common Indian/Western washroom facilities, and are very well-maintained and clean. You will also get to fill your tummies as you relish scrumptious meals as you have amazing food in the form of breakfast, unlimited dinner (veg and non-veg both available), and BBQ snacks (200-250g.m per person) and satisfy your taste buds to their fullest. Also, make your camping adventure more fun as you participate in a number of indoor and outdoor activities along with great music and a campfire. Pawna camping also has a safe parking space, power supply points, and reliable network connectivity.

More details about the Pawna Lake Camp

During the monsoon season, the camps will be organised inside a hut form that can accommodate a maximum of 5 people at a time. Music will only last till 10 PM following the government’s order for night curfew. Snacks & Dinner does not open beyond the particular timings specified on the website. After booking, the location details mentioned on the booking voucher may vary a little. Guests are requested to make a call to the tour operator in advance & avail the actual location of the camp. This camping site does not restrict smoking & drinking. The organisers or BanBanjara may not observe the actions on site. Washroom facilities that are available at the campsite are common for everyone. Camping is pretty elementary in nature. We advise the tourists not to expect any form of luxury and encourage them to enjoy nature as it is, with serenity and heart. Non-Veg food may not be available at certain festivals. Mobile & laptop charging points for tourists are available on the campsite at common points. We request all our guests to listen carefully to the instructions that are given by the tour organizers and also maintain cleanliness and do not litter. In case it is raining, the games may not be organised. The actual camp may vary a little due to a diversity of reasons like availability, quality, number of bookings, maintenance etc. BanBanjara reserves the right to change product photographs and stipulations at any time without any prior notice. Indoor/outdoor games are available as per campsite and tools for the same need to be requested by the tourists from the administrator. Children below 5 years of age can join this activity for free. Tents will be allocated on a first come first serve basis at Pawna Camping and the bonfire will be a common activity for everyone Any breakage or damage of any property in the camp will be charged to the individuals.

Pawna Lake Camping Itinerary

Day 1: Witness the beautiful views at Pawna Lake Campsite

Check-in by 4 PM at the Pawna Lake campsite. Stroll through the vicinity and explore the site on your own. Once you are settled down in your accommodation, you will be served tea and snacks at around 5-5:30 PM. Relish the BBQ Snacks served to you by 7 PM – 8 PM, and after that enjoy the unlimited dinner, while cherishing the beautiful evening along with a bonfire and beautiful music. If you wish to spend some more time gazing at the sky and the stars above, you will have all the time and space that will be yours. 

Day 2: Take with you a bag filled with amazing memories that you will cherish forever

The next day you may want to wake up early in the morning in order to witness the beautiful sunrise. Get some amazing photos captured along with your squad near the beautiful lake. The breakfast will be served at around 9 AM at Pawana Dam Camping. You can easily check out from the camps by 11:00 AM, and head back to the city. 

Tour difficulty for the Pawna Lake Camping

The camping at the Pawna lake is not really difficult at all and is rated 2 on a scale of 1 to 10. So you do not really have to worry about any difficulties, anyone of any age or physicality can very much enjoy the Pawna Lake Camp to its fullest.
